“Friends” Actress Courteney Cox Joins "Scream 5" Cast

There has been some talk for a while now about adding a new movie to the “Scream” series and finally it has been announced that “Scream 5” is actually coming to life.

“Scream 5” is set to arrive in cinemas on January 14th, 2022 with Neve Campbell reprising her role as Sidney Prescott, Courteney Cox reprising her role as news reporter Gale Weathers and David Arquette reprising his role as officer Dwight Riley (Dewey).

The new “Scream” movie is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett and produced by Spyglass Entertainment.

“Scream 5” also stars a number of young actors including the “13 Reasons Why” actor Dylan Minnette, “Jane the Virgin” actress Jenna Ortega, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” actress Mikey Madison as well as Mason Gooding.
