The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicted warm weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Friday.
It is also foreseen that the climate will be moderate in the Northern Coasts.
The Authority added that satellite images and the latest weather maps showed the country is expected to witness light rain in Lower Egypt and North Upper Egypt.
It is also predicted that moderate rain, sometimes thunderstorms, will prevail in the Red Sea mountain ranges, Sinai and the Gulf of Suez region, and the Canal cities including Shalateen, Marsa Alam, Quseer, Hurghada, Ras Gharib, Zaafarana, El Tor, Suez, Catherine, Nakhl, Ras Sidr, and Sharm El Sheikh.
Wind will be active in most parts of the country.
Meanwhile, extremely cold weather is predicted to prevail in Cairo, and Lower Egypt, as well as the North and South of Upper Egypt, at night.
It is also foreseen that the climate will be cold in the Northern Coasts, and South Sinai.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 21C in Cairo, 19C in Alexandria, 18C in Marsa Matruh, 22C in Sohag, 23C in Qena, and 23C in Aswan.
