All opinion polls for weeks have expected outgoing President Emmanuel Macron and far-right candidate Marine Le Pen to qualify in the first round of the presidential elections to be held tomorrow, Sunday, with the gap between them narrowing in opinion polls.
The news website of the French economic and financial newspaper "Les Echos" highlighted that Macron has lost the advantage he gained as a warlord since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, and his percentage of voting intentions fell to 26%, down two points this week.
According to Les Echos, 30% of the French believe that Marine Le Pen won, last week, many points, with an estimated increase of 5 points that allowed her, for the first time since the beginning of this year, to take the lead.
On the other hand, Emmanuel Macron fell 6 points (21%) this week; to occupy the second place, and after it has been for five consecutive weeks (since the beginning of the war in Ukraine), it is at the forefront of the indicators.
