The Israeli army announced that 45 officers and soldiers were wounded in southern Lebanon in the past 48 hours.
In a statement, it added that 735 officers and soldiers have been wounded, including 44 seriously and 100 moderately, since the fighting resumed in southern Lebanon.
The French Foreign Ministry stated that the only way to stabilize Lebanon and the region is through a political agreement between Israel and Lebanon that guarantees the security of both countries.
