French Foreign Minister (FM) Stephane Sejourne will travel to Germany on Sunday and Poland on Monday for a visit in which he will meet with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock and Polish counterpart Radoslaw Sikorski.

The French Foreign Ministry's deputy spokesperson said that this trip comes after Sejourne's visit to Kyiv today, his first foreign visit since taking office.

He added that the coordination between France, Germany, and Poland within the framework of the "Weimar Triangle" demonstrates the determination of the three countries to work together to strengthen and develop these strategic relations for the benefit of a "strong Europe."

He said that the Weimar formula is a "practical demonstration of our unity and our commitment to reforming Europe and supporting Ukraine," especially in preparation for the discussions at the European Council on February 1st on facilitating assistance to Ukraine.
