French Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Christophe Lemoine emphasized the urgent need to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza.
In a press conference reported by the Palestinian News Agency "WAFA," Lemoine stated that France has been calling for months for the unimpeded entry of humanitarian assistance into Gaza.
He also noted that Paris has consistently urged for a ceasefire in the territory and condemned the Israeli military's resumption of attacks following a ceasefire agreement.
Lemoine stressed that Israel is obligated to allow humanitarian aid to reach civilians in Gaza and must refrain from targeting relief workers delivering the assistance.
