France is set to host a second high-level conference on the war in Ukraine and European security on Wednesday, diplomatic sources revealed.

According to The Guardian, the upcoming conference will include Canada and several European nations that were not present at the first meeting, such as Norway, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Greece, Finland, Romania, Sweden, and Belgium.

On Monday, eight European countries—Germany, the UK, Italy, Poland, Spain, the Netherlands, and Denmark—gathered in Paris at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss Ukraine.

The meeting also featured European Council President António Costa, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte.

The second conference aims to broaden international coordination and reinforce collective efforts to address the ongoing crisis in Ukraine while strengthening European security measures.
