France Strongly Condemns Russian Missile Strikes against Kyiv

France strongly condemned, new Russian missile strikes that targeted Ukrainian capital Kyiv last night.

In a statment, French Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anne Claire Legendre said that the Russian strikes again deliberately targeted civilian infrastructure, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.

She referred to the statements of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Catherine Colonna, who has repeatedly confirmed that these unacceptable acts constitute war crimes and cannot go unpunished.

She also stressed that France will continue to provide support to the Ukrainian courts and the International Criminal Court in order to combat impunity for such crimes.
