France plans to mobilize 130,000 policemen across the country tomorrow, Friday, on Bastille Day, due to fears of renewed riots.
Yesterday, Wednesday, French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin announced the precautions in Paris. On Thursday and Friday evenings only, 45,000 policemen will be deployed. In addition, there will be special units as well as helicopters, drones, and armored vehicles.
Bus and tram services will be suspended in all urban areas at 10 pm on both days. Suburban trains and the metro will continue to operate in Paris.
