France Marks 6th Anniv. of Paris Terror Attacks

French Government and citizens commemorating the sixth anniversary of the terror attacks in the capital that left 130 people dead.

On this occasion, a number of representatives of victims' associations, High-ranking officials, and many citizens across the country commemorated the awful terrorist attacks, which left 130 people dead in 2015.

The remembrance comes as 20 accused persons are standing trial for their involvement in the catastrophic attacks, with the verdict expected in May of next year.

 According to French media, wreaths were laid in front of a plaque listing the names of the 90 people who were shot by intruders on the evening of November 13.

Also in this regard, Prime Minister Jean Castex and Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo held a silent tribute at the site of the Bataclan concert venue, attended a memorial ceremony in the Stade de France football stadium where the wave of killings began.

Meanwhile, the American official and US Vice President Kamala Harris stood alongside the French citizens as she laid a wreath at the Paris 13/11 memorial to mark the place where the martyrs lost their lives.
