France expressed deep concern over the heavy losses suffered by Palestinian civilians as a result of the Israeli shelling that targeted the Jabalia refugee camp in the Gaza Strip.
In a statment, French Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, on Wednesday, that France is deeply concerned about the heavy losses suffered by civilians as a result of the Israeli shelling that targeted the Jabalia refugee camp.
The ministry expressed its sympathy and solidarity with the Palestinian victims.
Moreover, the ministry also stressed that the protection of civilians is a commitment under international law and is binding on all.
It also renewed its call for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire so that aid can be delivered to those in need, in a safe, sustainable, and adequate manner.
