Today, French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin discussed the possibility of deporting extremists to Tunisia and Algeria.

Darmanin said that his country is facing a "terrorist threat", and that he will visit Tunisia and Algeria to discuss security issues.

The minister's remarks came after successive terrorist attacks which his country recently witnessed.

The minister shared his ideas about exiling terrorists to other countries in an interview with "BFM" television, indicating that the visit will take place next week.

He added that his country is currently in "a state of war," he also stated that "France is facing a terrorist threat."

Earlier, Tunisian President Kais Saied had a phone call with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, and they discussed the issue of illegal immigration.

The discussion of this file between the two countries came after Nice's attack, since the terrorist entered France illegally.
