The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced the deaths of four citizens and injuries to 39 others in Israeli airstrikes on the Jnah area, south of Beirut.
Lebanon's National News Agency reported that the latest Israeli airstrike on the Jnah area in Beirut's southern suburbs targeted a three-story building in the densely populated Al-Miqdad neighborhood, opposite the southern entrance to Rafik Hariri University Hospital.
The agency added that the strike resulted in casualties and injuries to many residents, causing extensive damage. It noted that a number of the wounded were transferred to Al-Zahraa Hospital.
The agency also reported that Israeli warplanes carried out five airstrikes on Beirut's southern suburbs.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese army announced the death of a soldier in an Israeli attack in southern Lebanon.
