Four people were injured following an incident at Dubai International Airport, according to the Dubai Media Office, which said emergency and ambulance teams were deployed immediately to secure the site and provide medical treatment.
Authorities did not disclose the exact nature of the incident or its cause.
Separately, the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defence said its air defense systems intercepted 137 missiles and 209 drones launched toward UAE territory, highlighting what officials described as the effectiveness of the country’s air defense network in protecting critical infrastructure and civilian facilities.
The statement came amid rising regional tensions linked to the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel, which has involved strikes and counterstrikes across parts of the Middle East.
The UAE has not confirmed whether the airport incident was related to any military activity, and investigations are ongoing as authorities monitor the security situation.
