The religious reward for giving and spending in the times of crisis is much higher than in any other time including the holy month of Ramadan.
Dr. Ali Gomae, a member of the Senior Scholars Council and the Head of the Board of Trustees of the foundation Misr El-Kheir, announced that it is religiously permitted to pay the zakat before its appointed time by the consensus of scholars.
Gomaa continued that the scholars consented to the religious permission to pay the zakat of two coming years not including the ongoing year.
“The religious reward for giving and spending in the times of crisis is much higher than in any other time including the holy month of Ramadan,” the scholar added.
The former Grand Mufti of Egypt advised the people during his video message on the Misr El-Kheir page to give and spend without fear because it is all Allah’s will, pointing out to the fact that the Islam is the religion of mercy, integration and cooperation.
