Former miss Pakistan world Zanib Naveed died in a car accident over the weekend in Maryland, New York.
According to a press statement released by Maryland State Police, Naveed lost control of her car, hitting a curb and overturning into oncoming traffic.
"Rockland County beauty queen — crowned Miss Pakistan World in 2012 — was killed over the weekend when her car hit a curb and overturned into oncoming traffic," Fox News reported.
The police conducted a preliminary investigation, which revealed that Alcohol was not a factor in the accident. Naveed's last post on her official Facebook page was on November, 21 when she appeared in a shiny gold dress.
“The greatest self is a peaceful smile, that always sees the world smiling back,” she wrote. Naveed was crowned Miss Pakistan World on 24 August 2012 in Toronto, Canada.
