Former Israeli Defence Minister Beni Gantz and one leader of opposition in Israel took part in ongoing protests in Israel, which are extending to many parts of Israel on Tuesday.
Many Israelis take to the streets to protest a controversial bill that diminishes some powers of the Israeli Supreme Court.
Gantz went on say that protests must be outside the military establishment and police.
He recommends commanders of the two establishments use excessive force against the enemies of Israel, not her citizens.
However, a reporter on Sky News Arabia revealed that the Israeli police had arrested 66 protesters for participating in demonstrations against the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The protesters closed motor highways in Israel and clashed with police personnel yesterday, but the right coalition continues to push the bill that stirs the public in Israel.
Crowds of protesters stopped traffic in the morning at the main crossroads and on the highways, and some prostrate their selves on the roads.
