Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, stressed the need to maintain the stability of international navigation lanes and enhance regional cooperation among the countries bordering the Red Sea to preserve the security of the Red Sea and ensure freedom of international navigation.

During his meeting with Annette Weber, the European Union Special Representative for the Horn of Africa, on the sidelines of his participation in the Oslo Forum, the Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed that any threat to the security of the Red Sea directly impacts the global economy, especially in light of the growing challenges facing the region.
