Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, received today, Saturday, Sylvestre Radegonde, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Seychelles.
Abdel Ati stressed the depth of the historical relations between Egypt and Seychelles, and the aspiration to enhance cooperation in various fields to achieve mutual benefit.
They also discussed the repercussions of the war in Gaza and its expansion to other parts of the Middle East.
Abdel Ati stressed the need to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip pointing out to the importance of supporting the Arab and Islamic plan to rebuild the Gaza Strip.
The two ministers praised the ongoing coordination between the two countries' missions to the African Union, stressing the importance of continuing consultations on issues of concern to the continent and topics related to strengthening the role of the African Union, in addition to cooperation in efforts to combat climate change.
