Badr Abdel Aati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, said that Egypt's speech at the UN General Assembly will be comprehensive and inclusive, and we will talk about the major reform process that Egypt has witnessed over the past decade, especially in the political, economic and social fields, and the achievements that Egypt has made so that it can be a role model for many developing countries.
Abdel Aati added: The speech will talk about the importance of preserving the credibility of the United Nations and the multilateral system, because what is happening in Gaza casts doubt on this credibility due to what public opinion sees as international duplicity and hypocrisy in not intervening and remaining silent on crimes committed throughout the year without any external intervention.
He said during a special interview via "Cairo News" that he will talk about the principles of international law and the importance of preserving it and the importance of maintaining it because there are those who no longer believe in these principles, and we will talk about the issues of the Third World and African issues because we are proud of our Africanism.
He added: "We will also talk about the crises in Gaza, Sudan, the Yemeni and Syrian crises, the crises in the Middle East, and the need for stability in the Red Sea, which has caused a significant decline in the revenues of the Suez Canal, as well as the need for the unity of the Somali state. We will also talk about water security, which is a comprehensive and inclusive word that will convey the voice of Egypt, which is the voice of Africa and the Arabs, to the world and the important international forum."
