Foreign Min. Sameh Shokry heads to Beijing

Foreign Minister Sameh Shokry is heading shortly to Beijing in a two-day visit to be concluded by the eighth ministerial meeting of China- Arab cooeration forum on Tuesday, Ministry'sstatment said.

The visit is scheduled to include meetings with senior officials in the Chinese government, such as Vice President "Wang Qishan", and Foreign Minister "Wang Yi". Shokry is also planned to speak before the Chinese Institute of Contemporary Relations, as well as giving many Media interviews.

The statement clarified that the eigth ministerial meeting of China-Arab cooperation forum, which Shokry is attending, will discuss several issues of common interest, as well as boosting the relations in diferent areas, especially, the economy. Shokry is planned to hold meeting with his Arab counterparts on the side line of the Forum.
