Forbes figures showed that the wealth of Egyptian businessman Nassef Sawiris reached $8.5 billion in April this year.
Forbes indicated that his fortune increased about $58 million within 24 hours after trading in the stock exchange.
The U.S. magazine indicated that Sawiris’s fortune increased about $3.5 billion during the coronavirus crisis, as his fortune in the magazine’s April 2020 list recorded $5 billion, compared to this month's report, which reported $8.5 billion.
The magazine added that Sawiris is an investor and descendant of Egypt's richest family, and his most valuable asset is about 6% of the shares of "Adidas" sportswear.
