Egypt's Foreign Minister (FM) Badr Abdel Atty headed to Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Sunday evening.
The visit aims to support and strengthen bilateral relations between Egypt and the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as to consult on shared regional challenges and reinforce Arab solidarity in facing these challenges, according to Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zaid.
The spokesperson revealed that the Foreign Minister's schedule will include numerous meetings, including political discussions with Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudi Foreign Minister, and a meeting with Majid Al-Qasabi, the Saudi Minister of Commerce.
Additionally, Abdel Atty is set to meet with prominent members of the Egyptian community in Saudi Arabia and some Egyptian investors in the Kingdom.
