On Saturday, FM took part in the quadripartite ministerial meeting to discuss developments in the peace process in the Middle East.

The meeting was attended by foreign ministers of Jordan, France, and Germany, as part of the ongoing efforts to discuss ways to revive the peace track in an effort to reach a comprehensive and just political settlement of the Palestinian issue.

Shoukry, President-designate of the 27th session of the Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), discussed with US Presidential Climate Envoy John Kerry a number of issues on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

Shoukry participated as a keynote speaker in a session on environmental diplomacy and climate change, within the framework of the Munich Security Conference.

In his speech, he stressed that climate change represents a global crisis with unprecedented repercussions, which highlights the importance of multilateral environmental diplomacy to confront climate change.
