Tamim Khallaf, Foreign Ministry official spokesperson, stated that the meeting focused on ways to bolster the strategic partnership between Egypt and the United States, as well as enhancing cooperation across political, economic, and security fields.
Abdelatty expressed Egypt's anticipation of further strengthening cooperation with the US Congress to achieve the mutual interests of both nations.
On the regional front, Abdelatty outlined Egypt's pivotal role in supporting peace and stability in the Middle East.
Moreover, he highlighted Egypt's ongoing efforts to contain the current escalation, reduce tensions, support the US-Iranian negotiation track, and advance diplomatic solutions.
The discussion also addressed several other regional issues, most notably the developments regarding the Palestinian cause.
Moreover, FM reviewed the key pillars of Egypt's stance on the situation in Gaza and the West Bank, emphasizing the efforts exerted by Cairo to sustain regional stability.
For his part, Hamadeh expressed his appreciation for the close strategic partnership binding Egypt and the United States.
He affirmed his keenness to support frameworks for joint cooperation and to maintain close coordination between the two countries on various issues of mutual concern.
