Egypt's Foreign Minister (FM) Badr Abdel Atty met, Wednesday, with Mr. Sybiha Andrii, Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting came on the sidelines of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) hosted in New York.
They discussed the course of bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them to achieve the mutual interests of both sides, while emphasizing the continuation of efforts to activate the existing joint frameworks between Egypt and Ukraine.
The discussion also touched upon the developments in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
In this regard, Abdel Atty reaffirmed Egypt's support for all efforts aimed at ending the crisis through diplomatic means, in the interest of establishing regional and international peace and security.
