On Saturday, Egypt's Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry stressed the depth of strategic ties between Cairo and Washington.
This came during his meeting with an American Jewish Committee (AJC) delegation, Ahmed Hafez, Foreign Ministry official spokesman said.
"During the meeting, Shoukry reviewed Egypt's vision towards the most prominent regional issue and its tireless efforts to revive the peace path towards achieving comprehensive peace, enhancing security and stability in the region," Hafez tweeted.
