Egypt's Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry held talks on Tuesday with Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev in Moscow.
"During the meeting, they discussed ways to boost bilateral cooperation between both countries in various fields, in addition to important regional and international issues of common interest," Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez said.
Moreover, Shoukry and Patrushev emphasized the importance of continuous coordination between the two countries.

Last Sunday, Shoukry left for Moscow, where he held talks with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov in Sochi.
In August, Moscow resumed direct flights to the Egyptian Red Sea resorts of Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada, ending a hiatus of six years over security concerns.
