Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, today, Saturday, received Dr. Muhammad Mustafa, Palestinian Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, to discuss the latest developments related to the Palestinian issue, and developments in the West Bank and Gaza.
Ambassador Tamim Khallaf, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that Abdel-Ati reviewed the latest developments in the Egyptian efforts aimed at establishing the ceasefire in Gaza and implementing all its provisions during its three stages.
The meeting also focused on plans for reconstruction in the Gaza Strip in the presence of Palestinians on their land and the arrangements for the extraordinary Arab summit scheduled to be held on March 4 in Cairo, stressing Egypt’s support for the Palestinian Authority.
