Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, received Dr. Ali Youssef El-Sherif, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sudan, today, Wednesday, on the sidelines of the Khartoum Process Ministerial Conference.
Ambassador Tamim Khalaf, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the special nature of bilateral relations and the close historical ties between the two brotherly countries, stressing Egypt's support for Sudan and its security and stability.
The two sides reviewed developments in efforts to support Sudan at the regional and international levels, as well as ways to help mitigate the humanitarian repercussions.
