Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, on Wednesday, March 12, during his visit to the Qatari capital, Doha.
The two sides discussed the distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, and ways to support and advance them in various fields, especially through working to develop economic, trade and investment relations in a manner consistent with the depth and strength of relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples.
The two ministers were keen to follow up on the outcomes of the extraordinary Arab summit held in Cairo and the extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Jeddah on supporting the Palestinian people. The two sides discussed the efforts being made to consolidate the ceasefire agreement and exchange hostages and detainees in the Gaza Strip.
