Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, received a delegation from the Palestinian Fatah movement, headed by Lieutenant General Jibril Rajoub, Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee.
Ambassador Tamim Khalaf, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that the meeting focused on the views and assessments regarding the current developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, where Minister Abdel Ati reviewed the latest developments in Egyptian efforts aimed at restoring the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and resuming the flow of humanitarian aid as soon as possible.
During the meeting, the Foreign Minister stressed Egypt's complete rejection of the ongoing Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
He reiterated Egypt's position rejecting the displacement of Palestinians from their land, discussing the Arab-Islamic plan to rebuild the Gaza Strip.
