Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, International Cooperation, and Egyptians Abroad, affirmed that there is no military solution to the crisis in the Middle East.
Speaking at a joint press conference with his Spanish counterpart, José Manuel Albares, Abdelatty expressed hope for a swift resumption of direct negotiations between Iran and the United States, while condemning the unjustified attacks on the Gulf States, Jordan, and Iraq.
Moreover, FM stated that his visit to Spain reflects the depth of relations between Cairo and Madrid, which have witnessed unprecedented development over the past year.
This includes the important visit made by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to Spain, during which bilateral relations were elevated to the level of a strategic partnership. This was followed by the King of Spain's visit to Egypt in September, which featured the convening of the joint business forum.
Furthermore, the King's acceptance of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's invitation to attend the grand opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) on November 1, 2025, serves as additional proof of the close and deep ties binding the two friendly nations.
He added that there is a complete alignment of positions between Egypt and Spain regarding the depth of their economic, commercial, and political relations.
