FM meets press, media leaders at SCMR HQ

Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry partook in a meeting organized on Thursday, at the invitation of Supreme Council for Media Regulations (SCMR) Head Karam Gabr.

The meeting was attended by a host of newspaper editors-in-chief, opinion writers, and media professionals.

At the outset of the meeting, Shoukry thanked Gaber for organizing such an encounter, which represents an opportunity to exchange views and visions on various key foreign political files and issues with a galaxy of intellectuals and leaders of the press and media in Egypt.

The meeting tackled the most important external challenges facing Egypt recently, as well as a number of regional and international issues and crises.

Moreover, FM reviewed the most important features of Egypt's foreign policy and the constants of the Egyptian position and vision regarding various files, as well as the determinates of action to defend the state's interests and its foreign relations in line with national priorities.
