Egypt's Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry and his Jordanian counterpart Ayman al Safadi discussed on Monday the latest developments in Palestine and ways to revive the peace process.
In a tweet, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez said, "The meeting comes within the continuous coordination and consultation with Jordan."

On Sunday, Shoukry left for Jordan for talks to discuss ways aim to build on the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, de-escalate tensions in the Palestinian territories and revive the Middle East peace process, a foreign ministry statement said.
According to the statement, the Egyptian foreign ministry said Shoukry will be received by Jordan’s King Abdullah II in Amman.
