Dr. Badr Abdel Atty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, received a phone call yesterday evening from Abbas Araqchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
The two ministers focused on developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip, where Araqchi appreciated the Egyptian efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement.
For his part, Abdel-Atty stressed the importance that Egypt attaches to starting the implementation of the agreement without delay, pointing out to the need to adhere to all of the agreement provisions in accordance with the time frame that was agreed upon.
