Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates, received two phone calls on Monday, June 15, from Mr. Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and Ms. Anita Anand, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada.
During the calls, both ministers warmly welcomed the reaching of an agreement between the United States and Iran.
Furthermore, they expressed their deep appreciation for the efforts exerted by Egypt over the past months and its contribution to achieving this agreement, in full cooperation and coordination with regional and international partners.
Moreover, both ministers expressed their hope that this agreement would help foster a conducive atmosphere and open a new chapter that contributes to supporting peace and stability in the region.
