Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry headed to Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, on Sunday morning to participate in the BRICS Foreign Ministers' meeting.
Shoukry is scheduled to deliver two speeches during the meeting's sessions. He will participate in the first session on cooperation within the BRICS framework, as well as in a second session on cooperation formats with partner countries.
The visit will also include several bilateral meetings with the foreign ministers of the participating countries to discuss ways to enhance and support bilateral relations and cooperation.
Additionally, they will consult and exchange views and assessments on prominent international and regional issues, primarily the war on Gaza and efforts to enhance the delivery of humanitarian aid to the region.
