Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry President-designate of UN Climate Change Conference 2022 (UNFCCC COP 27) received on Wednesday, German Special Envoy for International Climate Action Jennifer Morgan.
During the meeting, Shoukry expressed his aspiration for Germany to continue playing an active role in promoting international climate action at the bilateral and multilateral levels during the coming period, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez tweeted.

Moreover, FM added that the next period is scheduled to witness several high-level international meetings and events, in preparation for the 27th session of the Conference of Parties to the United Nations Convention Climate Change Framework, set to be hosted and chaired by Egypt in November 2022.
Moreover, Egypt’s top diplomate affirmed his keenness to consult with all parties concerned with international climate action and listen to their views on climate issues, to enhance cooperation and trust among them, and help the upcoming session to reach outcomes, that take into account the priorities of the various parties concerned with international climate action.
