Egypt's Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry phoned his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias to check on the situation after wildfires broke out in several regions across the country.
During the phone call, Shoukry stressed Egypt's full solidarity with the Greek government and people during these hard circumstances, expressing confidence that the ongoing efforts to control the situation will be crowned with success as soon as possible.
Egypt's top diplomat also affirmed the depth of historic relations between the peoples of both countries and their permanent solidarity.
