Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, said that the talks with his Ukrainian counterpart focused on the situation in the region, adding: “We stressed the necessity of stopping the aggression against Gaza.”
He added during a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart in Cairo: “Egypt condemns all forms of escalation that may lead to a comprehensive war in the region.”
The Foreign Minister continued: "We discussed regional files, including the catastrophic conditions in the Middle East as a result of the Israeli aggression."
The Minister stressed the need to stop the Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
