Egypt’s Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry held phone talks. on Wednesday, with his Canadian counterpart Mélanie Joly, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez said.
During the phone call, both ministers shed light on the continuous improvement in trade and economic relations between the two countries.
In this regard, Shoukry expressed Egypt's aspiration to continue developing ties at all levels to serve the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
Moreover, the meeting touched on all regional and international issues of common interest, the spokesman added, noting that the two ministers agreed to continue consultations and coordination during the next stage.
