Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry and Josep Borrell, High Representative of European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy discussed the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and efforts to stop the Israeli war in the Gaza Strip and Palestinian Rafah, in Brussels on Sunday.
Foreign Ministry official spokesperson Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, stated that both sides discussed mechanisms to enhance the strategic partnership between Egypt and the European Union and preparations for the investment conference scheduled for next June.
It is worth mentioning that, Shoukry had traveled to the Belgian capital today to participate in a joint meeting of the European Union's Foreign Affairs Council with several Arab foreign ministers and the Secretary-General of the Arab League to discuss the situation in Gaza.
