Egypt's Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry is set to receive his Algerian counterpart Ramtane Lamamra, tomorrow, Sunday, at the ministry headquarters in Cairo.
Both ministers will discuss important regional and international issues of common interest, as well as the latest preparations, ahead of the upcoming Arab summit.
It is scheduled that, a delegation from the Arab League will travel to Algeria next Monday, to prepare for the summit, according to official sources.
The Arab summit was postponed for two years due to the Coronavirus pandemic, as it was scheduled for March 2020.
It is worth mentioning that, on Saturday, FM held talks with the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) President Alok Sharma, who is currently visiting Egypt.
During the meeting held at the Foreign Ministry premises, the two sides discussed the international efforts exerted to combat climate change and Egypt’s hosting of the upcoming session of the Climate Change conference.
