During his visit to Algeria today, Thursday, Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, held a session of talks with Ahmed Attaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
Abdel-Ati emphasized the fraternal relations and historical ties between the two countries, pointing out to commitment to implementing the shared vision to advance relations between the two countries to broader horizons in various political, economic, commercial, and investment fields.
Abdel-Ati also stressed the importance of intensifying consultations between the two countries to coordinate positions on various bilateral and regional issues.
Abdel-Ati also discussed Egypt's readiness to exchange expertise in the field of development, especially in the infrastructure sector and the establishment of new cities and urban communities, reviewing the expertise and competence of Egyptian companies that qualify them to participate in development projects in Algeria.
The two ministers exchanged views on the most prominent issues on the regional scene, including developments in Gaza and Libya. They reviewed Egypt's efforts to implement the ceasefire agreement and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
The two ministers agreed to completely reject the displacement of Palestinians from their land under any pretext or justification.
They also reviewed Arab and Islamic efforts to mobilize international support for the reconstruction plan, while allowing Palestinians to remain on their land.
