Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Affairs of Egyptians abroad Badr Abdel Aty stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the introduction of humanitarian aid to the sector, as well as the importance of Israel's withdrawal from Rafah crossing and Philadelphi Corridor.
This came during the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Friday in a group meeting with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and foreign ministers participating in the ministerial meeting on the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the two-state solution, currently being held in Madrid.
Abdel Aty also stressed the necessity to take immediate action to achieve the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people and the establishment of their independent state on the border of the Fourth of June 1967, and its capital, East Jerusalem.
