Wildfires continue to spread across parts of Florida near Miami, with satellite images showing flames covering more than 20,000 square metres across Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
According to reports from NBC News, a massive wall of fire was moving across an open field near Miami as firefighters worked to contain the rapidly advancing blaze.
Smoke from the fires has reportedly begun drifting towards the nearby city of Pembroke Pines, raising concerns among residents and emergency officials.
Authorities have not issued evacuation orders so far, and there have been no immediate reports of injuries or property damage.
Fire crews remain on the scene as emergency teams continue efforts to prevent the wildfire from spreading further.
