Floria Governor Ron DeSantis will launch his 2024 presidential campaign in a social media event on Twitter with Elon Musk, ABC News reported.
DeSantis will declare that he is seeking the Republican nomination during a Twitter Spaces event, tonight. The conversation will be moderated by David Sacks.
He will make an appearance on Fox News to talk about his campaign.
Previously Twitter owner Musk said that he intends to support DeSantis in 2024.
Along with the Twitter event Wednesday, DeSantis' team are planning to hold an official kickoff show for the campaign in his hometown of Dunedin, according to sources.
That event is planned to take place the week of Memorial Day, however, sources added that the details may change.
The governor will have a two-day event to meet the donors, and it will take place in Miami.
