English indie rock band Florence + The Machine announced on Monday a new original song entitled "Call Me Cruella".

The song is helmed by composer Nicholas Britell and is set to be featured in the soundtrack of Disney's live-action "Cruella", which stars Emma Stone as the titular character and set for release on May 28.

Welch shared a preview of the song on Instagram, and captioned: "Call Me Cruella, May 21".

“Some of the first songs I ever learned how to sing were Disney songs. And the villains often got the best numbers. So to help create and perform a song for Cruella is the fulfillment of a long-held childhood dream," the band's vocalist Florence Welch said in a statement.

The crime comedy also stars Emma Thompson, Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Mark Strong, and others.

It is directed by Craig Gillespie and from a screenplay written by Aline Brosh McKenna, Jez Butterworth, Kelly Marcel, Tony McNamara, Dana Fox, and Steve Zissis.

Set in the 1970s, the movie highlights how de Vil became someone who believed it was a good idea to try and murder dozens of dalmatian puppies to make a new outfit.

The production was announced in 2011 with Andrew Gunn hired to produce the film and Glenn Close, who played the titular character in the 1996 live-action remake and sequel, serves as an executive producer.

In January 2016, Stone was cast in the titular role.
