Five Palestinians were killed and others wounded on Tuesday when Israeli forces opened fire and launched an airstrike on a group of civilians in the al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, Wafa reported.
Medical and local sources told WAFA that Israeli soldiers and a drone targeted a group of civilians in the al-Maghazi camp, resulting in the killing of five Palestinians and casing the injury to multiple.
The attack comes as part of the ongoing Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, 2013, and has resulted in the killing of 72,797 Palestinians, with 172,821 injured. It also resulted in the widespread destruction of homes, infrastructure, and service facilities.
